That can't be right. There's no way Paramount would allow it to be long enough where it's cutting in to possible showtimes and screens. If so, their bad year (five years...decade) is going to get worse. Not even Warner Brothers was stupid enough to release BvS in its three-hour cut (though that might have been the better option for them in hindsight).

I wonder if we will ever see a well received Transformers movie or an actually good movie similar to first Transformers.

And it wasn't. Bay didn't mention an actual running time, but he mentioned on Twitter that it's "a lot shorter" than the other sequels, whatever that means.

I'm glad to see that runtime rumor isn't true because that would just be ridiculous, but this will likely do no better than Pirates although we have yet to see where exactly that movie is going to end up.

I doubt it will be much higher than $160-$170M though.

Yeah great to know that its not THAT long, would be a terrible decision at this point to release that cut at this point of the series' run.

The previous movie in the franchise (Age of Extinction) was a great movie, and I'm hoping that trend continues with The Last Knight. Of course, movie quality and box office have zero correlation, but I'm still predicting that this new Transformers will match the last one.
