Surprisingly high for Wimpy Kid. I hope the first two hold.

Wimpy Kid is a total tank job at my theater, though school is just letting out for the day. Wouldn't surprise me to see DL's Alien and Wimpy numbers drop later.

Wimpy has some obstacles to tackle being a semi-reboot with a new cast. But these movies are so inexpensive that it would be almost impossible not to make money on it.

I'm surprised that Wimpy kid isn't doing better. Everything everything looks so generic. Decent for Alien.

I really doubt Wimpy Kid goes that high. If it does they may as well greenlight another.

Glad Wimpy Kid didn't do good, that's what it gets for having that awful trailer attached to so many movies!

$40M seems pretty unlikely for A:C based off that OD; it's only $11M for Friday. On the other hand, we've seen some great Saturday holds all year, so the prospect isn't dead yet. WOM is going to be pretty poor, so I don't expect more than $90M in total.

Guardians 2 should be good for $34-35M for the weekend.

So it should do 35-38mil for the weekend. I seriously doubt it hits 40 or even 39mil.

$40m is not happening. A:C is so frontloaded damn. The best I see it doing with that number s $37m. Don't think it can go any higher.

Guardians is on pace for 370m+ if it keeps this pace.

Deadline is saying 12m Saturday and 36m weekend for Alien. Totally not getting to 100m.

The film has been decreasing everywhere, under 40mil in the states was pretty much assured.

$35m then. Deadline will overestimate.
