Ray Subers apparently left the site on May 15th, so maybe it's just transitional issues.

I go to BOT for the family feel (I 'grew up' with those guys) and come here for the insights. Another thing WOKJ has over BOT is the level of pretentiousness. Reading the thread comments....goodness gracious. You have to realize these articles are for mass consumption. If Ray Subers was a forum goer he would probably run circles around most of us.

Pretentiousness? I think BOT is filled with pretentious people putting up a facade of who they are. Despite those, there are a lot of trolls, sexists, misogynists, misanthropists, racists, chauvinists etc. At least here, what you see is what you get. There, it's a bunch of pansies covering each other's arses.

No thinking? I think you're confused. You could've said "no googling".
Titanic, Avatar, Shrek 2, Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, Phantom Menace, etc etc etc

Though if you said "how many movies have grossed $400+ mil" I would have not guess anywhere near 20.

Titanic, Avatar, Shrek 2, Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, Phantom Menace, etc etc etc Good job Chippy!! You're right, I should have said no googling. But seriously, I'm proud of you. I truly believe you fired off that list from the top of your head. Good job again sir.

It's funny that they are showing Monday actuals but no 4-day actuals. It's as if they completely forgot this is a holiday weekend, which they had always shown data for both 3-day and 4-day.

Been deep in that world for 15 years now. Still remember almost exactly how much Spider-Man made opening weekend ($114.844 million) without looking it up. That number was burned into my memory.

Re: The End of an Era? BOM goes gone girl
Simpleton is a mug of epic proportions.
After two completely amateur weekend wraps complete with no editing, insight or expertise, now he doesn't even know it's a 4 day weekend? This might be the third or fourth but I gave up- even the most naive and newest member here could have written something better.
Plus Age of Adaline's inane weekend estimate remains $15m and therefore was overestimated by $13m. I'm pretty sure that they do some of these manually otherwise I'm not sure how such mistakes could be made and overlooked.
The guy is a wanker. Stealing a living.
