No, I estimated with Robots. It should have around a $0.5 Friday, and then a good weekend multiplier.

I lowered xXx2 even more. People who predicted under 22 million for it should be bowed to.

My projections:

Guide to the Galaxy - 24.0
The Interpreter - 15.0 (its Friday is better than Man on Fire's second Friday, so I don't see why it can't earn at least as much)
XXX2 - 12.0 (follows Elektra's pattern with a little worse Sunday drop since Elektra had Monday holiday)
The Amityville Horror - 8.3
A Lot Like Love - 5.0
Sahara - 5.5
Fever Pitch - 3.4
Kung Fu Hustle - 3.2
Guess Who - 2.2
Sin City - 2.1

MG Casey’s projections – 82.59%
Xiayun’s projections – 83.52%

Which is pretty good considering 0% on XXX 2 (although it's so close! Projections are around $12 million, and I predicted $24 million, so I just lose out on some percentage). Still, I'm happy with myself for nailing Hitchhiker.

PEACE, Mike ;)

Great score, Martin! Too bad that XXX2 bombed too hard to have a better advantage for predicting low.

Using MgCasey's projections. Despite my flop scores on the openers, I still manage to get a 79.68%. Hey, at least it wasn't a total disaster.

theres a strong possibility that XX2 will struggle to make $30m.

Elektras legs were literally sliced when its second weekend was not only coming off a holiday sesh, but it also saw the east coast snowstorm which badly affected all buisness. The weekend after theaters deserted it due to weak grosses so its legs only recovered way too late in its run.

XX2 should have better legs on this account; but its heading into May now so it'll be tough for it to stand up to the competish.

But the difference is - Elektra cost less than $50m to make; XX2 cost $120m. Its a bigger bomb than Crapwoman.
