I don't like the SIN CITY prediction but of course it will be like that

He is wrong.
I used to stand behind him, but I recently moved to the side (helps in avoiding the tomatoes being thrown at him).
xXx will open to over 30, and HitchHikers to over 20.
Book it.

XXX should definetely open over $30 million but I won't be surprised if it doesn't. I wouldn't be surprised if HITCHHIKER completely bombed. This is one of the worst weekends in awhile for movies. Probably since the end of January when we had both ALONE IN THE DARK and HIDE AND SEEK ](*,)

I think XXX2 and Hitchhiker's going to tie for the weekend, just don't know the right amount. I predicted 25 for both

Too low for Hitchhiker? I'm tellign you people, the marketing has been very soft, and this will be a very tough sell to the teen audiences. If it gets anything under 20, then you owe me a cookie.

I'm with you Scott on Hitchhiker's Guide. Its commercials have been horrible. The only thing going for it is the alien theme.

It looks dead on to me. I haven't seen many huge openers (discount Valentines) this year. Has anything opened to over 30 yet? If so, do you guys really think xXx part due will be the one? I haven't seen that heavy marketing for it here, and haven't seen the trailer even once. That's saying something since I've seen a big release every weekend for quite sometime. They all look on.
I wish is different however. I keep thinking Hustle will get some wom and maybe have a tiny drop, but now I don't think so. I'd like to see it get 5, but 4 is probably more accurate/ Short run...kiss the oscar nom good bye.
I'd like to see Hitchhiker do better as well, but response seems lackluster, so this looks about right.

I highly doubt its fanbase would give it more than 4 million more.

:???:
I'm not sure you're sure how popular the book(s) is.
I think $22M might be slightly lowballing it, that was my prediction.

Hitch \:D/
Shares the same start of the name. Coincidence? I think not.

Scott's prediction is absolutely on spot with what I now think xXx: State of the Untion will make over the weekend. However, I think he underpredicts Hitchhiker's. I see it definitely breaking $20 million over the weekend. I also think that he (and many others) somewhat underpredict The Interpreter. I see it possibly getting to $15 million.
