Excellent hold for Sin City. M$B dropped 70% from last weekend, maybe $100mill is out of reach now.

WOW, well the only thing I can say made all the movies drop bigger then expected ( except for Sin City ) is the NCAA Championships
Dont know if you should compare this Monday with Kill Bill's Monday, since just look at how bad all the other movies dropped. Thats fantastic for Sin City.

Kill Bill Volume II also had the advantage of being closer to the summer season, though only by a few weeks.
Still, that's a great hold for Sin City.

I do think the comparison with KB Vol 2 is valid. They are only a couple of weeks apart in the calendar, and Vol 2 also had the best Monday drop among the top 12 after a great Sunday hold. At the time, people were impressed and thought it could avoid over 50% second week drop, but it didn't happen.

We'll see how it holds up today, then determine it's weekend drop.

Lame and boring numbers all around.
Sin City will drop 50% at least, no matter what. But even so, by the end of its next weekend, it'll probably have $50+ million.

This just tells you about Sin City's demographics. The audience for this type of movie tends to see films relatively often on weekdays at this time of the year. It will have a weak Friday increase.

Sin City has the best hold in the top 12. However, Kill Bill Vol 2 only dropped 64% on its first Monday. sin city is basically doing constantine numbers as it seems (but constantine had a 4 day weekend but it still doesnt change the fact) and it is also basically doing kill bill numbers so my prediction is at $70 million right now.
