I doubt Diary of a Mad Black Woman's legs will be a third as strong, especially since it is a spring release versus a summer one like The Notebook.

Very impressive for diary of a mad black woman. I say it has a very good shot of being this year movie that came out of nowhere and became a Huge hit. Also vey impresive for are we there yet and coach carter. maybe diary came out a perfect time without even knowing it.

Yeah, I see Diary making around $21 million this weekend but finishing with around $50-$55 million.

Are We There Yet? continues to perform strongly, should be down around 30-35% for the weekend and easily cross $80 million next weekend. Looks like $100 million is out of reach at this point though.

Well, I was referring to a total gross. I doubt it will have Notebook legs and take in over 100m. But a finish between 60-75m would be "suprise hit" territory in my opinion. I wonder how the WOM is holding up?
