2005's Top 3 Films are Headlined by Black Actors
1 Hitch $101,008,218
2 Are We There Yet? $72,366,449
3 Coach Carter $65,277,141
And we've got Rock hosting the Oscars, Beyonce performing (booh...), Mr. Freeman about to finally get his Oscar, Foxx obviously guaranteed his....
Good times, good times indeed

Which is exactly why this is so good. These actors are doing well not because they're black, but because they're good actors who do good work that is popular and well-received.

I never thought about it that way. I find it weird that a lot of people always judge by color of someone's skin, but aren't considered racist. I'm not calling you racist, Box, I know you're not. I just never thought of the top films as films with leading stars that were black. I just saw them as movies, and movies that were good enough to be at the top so far.

ACtually, being serious, I think thats the point Box is trying to make. That its not an issue whether they're black or not. People aren't thinking that way. Not realizing top 3 actors are black (unlike people like berry who somehow keep this shit in the back of their minds all the time and play the racism card when required).

That's my point. I'm highlighting it to show that at this moment, this is not something that is an issue. It seems paradoxical, but I'm only pointing it out so as to point out that this isn't necessarily being pointed out, which is a good thing. \:D/

YOU?! SERIOUS?! Yeah right. You're ridiculing me!!!... aren't you?! Well, just because I was stalking you for a brief period, and saw those pictures of you that were on here for ten minutes, doesn't mean I need ridicule!

Are you using tsk in every post now?

I welcome a time when we no longer need to recognize the achievements of blacks.
In the meantime, go black people.

Hehe, OOPS. I do that a lot. Wait a minute... NOW YOU'RE RIDICULING ME! Why ALL THIS RIDICULE?! Is it because I made a cameo in the "Steamy Nights in the Igloo" porno? Rusty looked so good in that winter jacket and those snow shoes...

Do you mean socially or physically? 'Tis sad to be a midget. People always look down on you...

If films with black stars weren't doing very well at all and box_2005 made the same sorta thread highlighting it...some people would use the same old 'racism' card..."ooh, youre highlighting out disadvantages, thats racist"
But because theyre doing well, its all okay? sorry..but just because your thread is highlighting success, doesnt make your thread right.
