Expensive for a horror film, but cheap for a blockbuster.

LMAO at Goldfinch. The trailer for that movie is so annoying and pretentious and now the reviews are bad too. Bombs away.

All because they wanted to hire big name actors, and it's still going to drop $100m+ domestically.

Goldfinch should have been a Netflix mini-series.

Who the fuck gave The Goldfinch a 45 million budget. Even Annapurna wouldn't do that

Netflix probably would have paid much more than that 45 million too!

That's a decent budget for Abominable though the trailers make it look very cheap. Unfortunately with the estimated low OW in US I don't see it making a profit. Given that it has a Chinese setting maybe it can break out in China to make back money though but I feel doubtful about that.

Great budget, but it should also tell us that it should be less of a comic book film as we've gotten to know them.

It's a drama movie with no superhero action spectacle. Only features late night riot scenes which have been done cheaper.

That's a decent budget for Zombieland 2 although I'm sure the backend deals were through the roof.

What?!?! That's shocking I'd expect that to be the cast salaries alone

The Z2 cast probably got fat backend deals.
