I don't think Fat Albert has bad WOM. It's a kids movie, and like the others, it's having bad drops this week.

Bad for Lemony Snicket too. Zingaling in my area it is getting bad WOM. Everyone thinks the tagline Hey Hey Hey on Christmas Day is retarded!

Yes, because tying in the film's lead character's catchphrase with the day it opened is so stupid. You're just envious that you didn't think of it.

Bit of big drop, i wanted it to stay above $3M, but maybe i was being too ambitous. Nice total though

I'm sure the Oscar buzz for Fat Albert will help it rebound in the coming weeks.

The margin between National Treasure's and Polar Express's total is getting very, very small!

The Aviator keeps hoding on, but overall the numbers are definitely unimpressive.
Closer is doing better than initially expected. It'll cross $30 million this weekend and probably end up with $40+ million. Despite the fact that it won't get nominated for any major Oscars with the exception of Best Sup. Actor and Actress, I think the oscar buzz is helping the movie's box-office immensly.
Glad to see The Polar Express still doing pretty well.

I expect increases today across the board for all films but the kids films i see them droping around 5%-10% again tomorrow. For the films that are increasing they wont be very big increases 5% max. I think The Aviator could also have another Wknd over 10m if it continues its curent performance, its also getting a theater boost not very big but for a film like this one a theater boost could realy help the wknd.
