Post Your Opinion Regarding The Incredibles
What do you guys think?

I'm starting to think that the film will underperform :(

I dunno, although the marketing has hit all the right notes, and is picking up big time, I still am doubtful at this point.

Ideally, I'd love for it to make $94/$350, but that's so unlikely, it's almost not worth bringing up.

Realistically, if Shark Tale can make $47.6m, what's keeping The Incredibles from a $70m opening? It's theatre count will probably be 3,700-3,800 (Disney seems to be opening big this year, look at The Village).

With WOM much better than for Shark Tale (although WOM doesn't seem to affect kids films, for some sick reason), its legs should at least be decent.

Polar Express, however, opens 5 days later, and then you have SPongebob the weekend after.

I dunno, $210-250m at this point.

Your thoughts?

I think it will be on par with Nemo. I don't think an 80 million + weekend is possible.

Opening: $71.0
Total: $330.0

hm Im thinking 78m/280m, 300m would be hard to reach because of the competition both spongbob ( wich will make 300m+ ) and TPE are going to open up for this film. But man are the visuals awesome for this film some of the best Ive seen for a film of its genre if not the best. I will watch TI without a doubt.

1. Your avatar kicks ass.

2. I agree, the visuals are quite stunning. The details in some of those stills are just...amazing
