I knew Team America would perform more like Kung-Pow than Fahrenheit 9/11!
That's good for Shall We Dance also.
Taxi won't fall as hard as some expected. Might even get -44% or less!
Friday Night Lights is going to have a very nice drop!

I underpredicted most holdovers. :? How could they jump 250-300% after the huge increase on Thursday? :x

Yours is actually a few seconds earlier.
I borrowed your post since the coloring is much nicer.

I hope the increases on Saturday for everything other than Shark Tale will be non-existant. 20% or less. That'd be nice.

Oh my god, this is the end of the world! Myself, and everyone else, was expecting Team America to have a 20 million friday AT LEAST. All the signs were pointing to it!
Now with its 5 million, it might not even hit 20 million for the WEEKEND! No...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Probably will. Team America will probably finish around $35-40m, and Shall We Dance will be in a similar range. Even with bad reviews, Shall We Dance? will have better holds because of the topic.

:x
Anyway, Team America is not a bomb, but it is definitely a disappointment. I expected quite a bit more.

I had some rough projections up in BOF, but I didn't use much old multiplier data, just a quick calculation to get some idea. Please feel free to modify them anyway you like.
Shall We Dance should expand next week with the excellent PTA it's having.
EDIT: pimp has his projections up.

Shall We Dance is deserving, but Team America deserved more.

Shocking numbers we have here. Team America was no where near the success I expected from it. And Shall We Dance? did very well compared to what I expected. Friday Night Lights and Shark Tale both have excellent holds.

I think this bodes extremely well for The Grudge next week, with even smaller competition. Not that the horror movies nowadays are competiting with political-driven puppet comedies.

Just disappointing... Shall we Dance not bombing hardcore. Team America not making big numbers. I feel sick right now.

ouch team america is performing under expectaions and shall we dance is doing better than expected bleh I probably got 0% for my derby on both of them :x as for all the hold overs this was very unexpected I gave most holdovers a 40%+ drop and over for my derby so this registers as bad for me I see a derby score a little over 70% :x awell any way great holds and good openings hopefully there can be another wknd over 90m for the top 12 8)

Shark Tale #1 for 3 weeks in a row...sweet...It's sad to see Team America underperform but I guess it was somewhat expected. Good drop for Friday Night Lights.
