My original prediction was 30% Thursday and 65% Friday, but I'm not sure how frontloaded it will be. This has more of a fanbase then any of the Thanksgiving openers from last year so it is hard to figure out exactly how high the weekend multiplier will be.

I think Rent did great yesterday. 5-5.3m is great for this movie. It has an opening day PTA of $2,178.

Yesterday I was cursing this movie. It didn't make any sense to me. Now it's looking super-frontloaded, and I'm thinking it can fall shy of 30m. When has anything ever fallen 50% on thanksgiving? It had 150% more then Just Friends yesterday, and now they are about even.

It is pretty much one of the most frontloaded movies ever. If it opened on a normal weekend, I believe it wouldn't have reached a multiplier of 2.
$17.1 milion in 5 days...it didn't even have a Wed-to-5-day multiplier of 4. That is really really really bad. I see it ending up with $30-31 million now, but below $30 million would not surpruse me. Watch out for a 65+% drop next weekend.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it had the top 10's lowest drop?
I would find that funny, especially after all these bold declarations.

So...what are the odds for this to happen?

I didn't say I thought it would happen, I just think it would be funny if it did.
