Some of its amazing stats:

1. It dropped 45.7% Thursday-to-Friday;

2. Its Friday's PTA was even lower than Thursday's;

3. They even bothered to track the numbers!

Hehehe.

To be fair, it dropped over 500 theatres in its SECOND weekend and that certainly played a role. Even if it didn't, though, it'd have dropped a bit over 80% probably.

Losing theaters is supposed to help stablizing a movie's PTA. I know all the theaters that kept it must have only given it 1 showing, so it's expected, but it's still amazing to see the PTA to drop when it lost theaters and was moving from a weekday to the beginning of weekend. :)

To be fair, it should be ZERO because honestly what theatre would actually WANT to keep showing it?

In the whole entire SF Bay Area, ALL theatres dropped Undiscovered Thursday night, except for one - The AMC Van Ness in the city of San Francisco was the only theatre that kept it into the weekend and only showed it once at 9:00pm.

This is the rare film that your only real chance to see it theatrically was during opening weekend.
