Looks like no 3rd weekend for this. I wonder if it can rival Gigli for worst drop ever?

Bad but expected for A Sound of Thunder and Underclassman. Great for Transporter 2 and Red-Eye (increasing).

Yep, The Brothers Grimm was a typo. It did look unusual, but makes more sense now. Looks like the hurricane won't be shutting down many theaters this weekend after all.
Undiscovered lost theaters, though, despite it being the second weekend. Not that we blame anyone. Anyone think it could challenge Gigli?

I edited my post to include that, so yes, it looks very likely. Even a 50% in PTA would be a 70% decrease overall, and we know the theaters that do have it will push to one showing a day, so...yeah, it will.

It will be out for 3 weeks. Most likely making less than $30,000 in its 3 and final weekend.

September 9th estimates:
The Exorcism of Emily Rose 2,900+
The Man 1,800
An Unfinished Life 400
Mobsters and Mormons 32
Green Street Hooligans 7
Curandero 2
Don't know what's going on with An Unfinished life considering it will have 741 sneaks this weekend.

wtf; a Sound of Thunder is in less than 1,000 theaters? With that budget i presumed 2,400 was a dead cert.
What an awful sign.

I expect actual counts to bring The Exorcism of Emily Rose to 3100 or thereabouts. It looks to be a solid horror/thriller hit. Disappointing estimate for 'The Man'. I thought for sure it would be a 2500 plus release.
Also, is Box Office Mojo the only place to get theatre counts for already playing films? Exhibitor Relations' site only has new releases.

The Man's estimated theatre count seems a bit lower than expected. I thought it should muster around 2,500 theatres.
The Transporter 2's theatre count is good, but then again, theatre counts of around 3,5000 didn't help Stealth and xXx: State of the Union either...
March of the Penguins should have a great increase this weekend and considering it won't be in less than 2,000 theatres anytime soon, I think it has a great chance at $100 million.
