Batman Begins - 219m? Other projections as well -Wknd wrapup
http://www.worldofkj.com/Wrapup-18.php
It would need a multiplier of less then 4 from this point on to reach 200m, so I'm nearly certain it will make it. The legs should only improve. Meanwhile a multiplier of 5-5.5 for about 230m-245m should be the upper limit, so I think somewhere near 220m is most likely.
So, too high? Or, maybe too low?
What do you think?
Also:
Bewitched - 69m
Mr. & Mrs. Smith - 183m
Herbie - 50m
Land of the Dead - 25m-26m

I'd be shocked if this ended up with $220 million to be honest. That's some amazing legs.

34% drops. That wouldn't take a huge improvement from the current drop.

What's the average drop required for just $200 million?
I mean, even if it drops under 35% this weekend, it'll drop over 40% the following because of the holiday weekend.

39.6% without any holiday effect counted in or any increase in the weekday numbers. Since those factors should have a bit of an effect, I'd say 40%.
I'm not really sure the holiday will have much of an impact. Sunday will have a drop under 20% anyway, so how much more could it earn?
I think it will drop under 40% both weeks, but it is the 5th and 6th week that it could really show its legs. That's when Shrek 2 and The Bourne Supremacy began to show excellent holds.

I have faith in the Batman. He can fly his way past the $200 million mark. If it gets to $170-$190 million though, its still a success in my eyes.

Well not all may be lost, at least the sequel will be guaranted to make more than Batman Begins even if its not as good but as long as it doesnt hover in the Daredevil quality

I have always said the upper limit for this movie was $220M. It would be fabulous if it can get to it.
