Sorry. My mistake. You had me confused (by the comments only). Seeing The Phantom of the Opera 100 times would not make you gay. I liked The Hours. Does that make me gay (as it is a chick-flick)?

Love me, that's all i ask of you  , when will the flames at last consume us.......

What's wrong :???: - come under my wings - you will feel warm there

No thanks. I'm quite warm here. I just had to turn my fan on its so hot (75-degees in this level of my house!)...

When will the blood begin to race the sleeping bud burst into bloom? ,

The one with the fantastic violin solo? I like that too.

By the way, you misspelled "the" but I fixed it for you.

Violin solo? i don't remember hearing that in Point of No Return :???:

The part where the chandelier drops.

Oh that part, from the teaser - do you also like the Organ pronounciation in the Overture.....i just love the bass line..

And how did you come to this? I didn't find Dallas Howard's performance particularly engaging or outstanding.....the sort of performance you normally get from these suspence/horror movies....

I think the emotion she put into it was incredible. She played a blind person fantastic. I was completely engaged by her performance throughout the movie (I would almost say it was the best part of the film).

It just didn't stand out for me, i can appreciate the fact that she's playing a blind character but the emotional range which she displayed were rather limited.....

I just thought she was better then Rossum. As far as emotional depth in The Phantom, Rossum was excellent, but she still wasn't perfect. Not to say the Dallas-Howard was, but I'd say she was definately better.

Who out of the two do you think will have a stronger career.....though isn't it a bit worrying that Dakota Fanning will probably smoke the 2 over the next couple of years.......she's fantastic IMO.....the female equivalent of Haley Joel Osment....she has the projects to match....

I don't know, but I have a feeling Dakota Fanning will fade in the next few years... She's a fantastic actress though, let's hope she doesn't.
As for who'll have a better career between Rossum and Howard... I don't know, that's a tough question. I just both of them have successful careers.

Between Rossum and Dallas-Howard? I'd have to say both have good careers ahead of them. Rossum because she is good at both singing and acting could very easily transition into either the music industry or Broadway.

Dallas-Howard will probably stick with smaller films for a while to build her name up. Her next project is Manderlay the next film in Lars Von Trier's America trilogy. The film is a prequel to the deeply disturbing Dogville which starred Nicole Kidman, Paul Bettany and Stellan Skaarsgard among others. Dallas-Howard also has the benefit that her father is Academy Award wining director Ron Howard.

As for Dakota Fanning...the sky is the limit. She is incredible.

I just looked that up on imdb. Looks like Bryce will be playing a younger Grace, interesting... I'll see it since I loved Dogville.

I'm quite dissapointed that Haley Joel Osment's career hasn't really taken off since he became a teenager......wasn't his last hit Artificiall Intelligence?........let's hope Dakota Hanning fairs better.......even my parents say she's extraordinary, just 10 years old, and the emotions she conveys with her face is superb...

Emmy Rossum i've heard is currently working through some small scripts, which is great after movies like Phantom and The Day After Tomorrow, she needs to build that reputation as a quality Actress (i.e. Natalie Portman) not someone like Lindsay Lohan..etc...

She's also pursuing a singing career i think and hopes to release a pop album  , have any of you guys heard her song "Streets of Dreams"....not too shabby...

Uh no, don't tell me now that this is the first time you've realised that it was cute little Emmy as Jake Gyllenhall's love interest in TDAT  ,

Not too bad. Could use a little more polish, perhaps it was the source of the file? Has a sort of country feeling to it almost. I like it though.

She has time to develop her voice, and if she's really serious about it (which she is) i'm sure she'll release a good debut album....

This song was actually for the Nola (2003) so she was just 16-17

DLP Cinema(TM) Projection Technology Supported Digital Flight of Miramax's Academy Award(R)-Nominated 'The Aviator'

Distribution Source : PRNewswire
Date : Monday - February 21, 2005
http://press.arrivenet.com/bus/article.php/593767.html

DALLAS, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Instruments (TI) DLP Cinema(TM) technology, the digital cinema projection technology deployed in movie theatres worldwide, played a supporting role during the production and post-production process for Miramax's "The Aviator." The movie, which features 395 visual effects, received the 2005 Golden Globe(R) Award for "Best Picture" and is nominated for 11 Academy Awards(R), including "Best Picture."

The creative team behind "The Aviator" used DLP Cinema(TM) projection technology throughout the entire moviemaking process to achieve Academy Award(R)-nominated director Martin Scorsese's vision. A Christie 2K DLP Cinema(TM) projector provided the visual effects team with the ability to immediately view color correction passes -- serving as a valuable tool while they painted the desired look of the Howard Hughes era and gave a futuristic look to aviation. In addition, an NEC DLP Cinema(TM) projector at Scorsese's home in New York enabled him to remotely view digital dailies and recommend alterations to the visual fidelity of each scene.

---

DLP Cinema(TM) projection technology has been exposed to more than 21 million movie-goers throughout the world, delivering the clearest, sharpest, brightest and most accurate images as the director intended them be seen. The total number of installed DLP Cinema(TM) projectors is now more than 275, with theatres located in 26 countries around the world. More than 140 movies have been released on DLP Cinema(TM) projectors, including: The Phantom of the Opera, Polar Express, Shrek and Shrek 2, Finding Nemo, Collateral, and Star Wars: Episodes I and II. For more information, or to find a DLP Cinema(TM) theatre near you, please visit http://www.dlpcinema.com/ .
