Yes..I had checked before and while many said the 1st Jan., one cinema outfit told me 30th Dec.! I just received news from this list today, so I'll be quite disappointed if it is delayed!

But I like Archangel Supreme! It has a nice ring to it and it reminds me of those cool daredevils in Reign of Fire...I'm sure you saw that film as we tend to like similiar flicks!

With a grain of salt I take it all....credible or not! I remember that I wasn't so fond of TTT on my first viewing, but it grew on me after multiple viewings!

Smaug the Dragon will be the highlight of The Hobbitt if it gets made, i mean we've already seen Gollum, already seen the shire.....

BTW - I'm so hoping that the White Council will be filmed.....that will tie Hobbitt nicely into LOTR......and a cameo appearance by 3 of the big guns like Gandalf, Saruman and Galadriel will be super....

It actually took me quite some time before putting FOTR at the top spot.......after getting deeper into the mythology, history and characters.......it all started to grow on me........

Actually, I was really hoping that the would show the White Council in TTT: EE after Gandalf was resurrected! There was this rumour that they would since it was filmed, but I suppose it was cut at the last minute! Also there was to be a seen where Lord Elrond goes to Lothlòrien and has a meeting with his parent-in-laws (Celeborn and Galadriel) about sending aid to Aragorn at Helm's Deep! Oh well..

Well, it would still be great to see the White Council in The Hobbit anyway!!

FOTR has always been my favourite, though I adore each of them in their own special way!

But it wouldn't really fit into TTT: EE because Saruman has already betrayed the council by then and seeked to get the ring for himself....unless it was shown as some sort of flashback.... :?

These little scenes will add greater depth into the Hobbit.....which afterall is only an adventure story with not much at stake compared to LOTR.....

Actually it would! In the book, after Gandalf dies, he is brougth back to life by the powers that be (Valar) and Gwaihir bears him away to Lothlòrien at the bidding of the Lady Galadriel! There the White Council conveens and it is decided that on the betrayal of Saruman, Gandalf the Grey is to be renamed Gandalf the White and thereby Head of the White Council! He is then given his robes and new staff, etc.! Galadriel, in fact, had always wanted Gandalf as Head of the Council because she saw something in the core of Saruman that uneased her, but other members of the Council were swayed by Saruman with his vast knowledge and lore and made him Head because of it!
