Just need Gladiator to do its part now. The early reviews were very promising but those can never be truly trusted.
I think if you took 10 uninformed people and put them in a room with the Here trailer, at least 6 out of 10 would assume it was more likely to be an SNL skit than a real movie.

Re: Slump Before The Storm - Glicked Edition Equalizer 3 did $35M on Labour Day weekend ($43M 4day).
Add in Gladiator IP, Thanksgiving weekend, lack of competition and feels like the floor should be a $50M 3day but likely much higher. Denzel fans always show up for his non indies so hope the quality is there for this to get lots of walk ups.

According to Empire, Moana 2's first 24 hours are outpacing than InsideOut2of #Moana2. He's seeing $150m+ in range though over 5 days will vary.
So Wicked is headed for $100M+ over the 5days, Moana 2 looks like it's doing the same. Gladiator 2 looks like it's set for #3 but going to be a massive weekend.
Add in Red One which apparently tracking for a $35M+ OW which has it's second weekend an likely a small gross from Here's second weekend and maybe we could see something like this:
5days
Moana $150M
Wicked $125M
Gladiator $50M
Red One $15M
Here $5M
Nearly $345M gross here!

Re: Slump Before The Storm - Glicked Edition Man, sonic and Moana really have to over perform to have any chance at last year, like at least 750 between the two of them. If red one can surprise and gladiator and wicked don’t flop between one of them outside chance.
