Inside Out #1 from my estimates will be inflation adjusted to: $120,278,052/$477,177,821
Inside Out 2 looks like it could do $154,201,673/$600,000,000 (Est)

Admissions jump will be closer to 25.7%, unadjusted jump will be a little more than the jump between Shrek 2/Shrek 1. So I do think it's fair for us to ball park this.

Joker 1 will be adjusted to $117,744,939/$401,350,083. Hypothetically if Joker 2 has a similar admissions jump (very different genres but for fun's sake), it will finish at $504.5M.

I always thought Mufasa would do well despite the last one. Was upset that I missed out on it in the Draft because i went for DM4 instead.

The character of Mufasa is the best of the franchise and the Christmas release date will help. It's just so hard to work out if the 2019 film pissed off enough people. Plus Sonic 3 is no chopped liver. It will be formidable competition (I'd advise Paramount to move up a week though). Time will tell.

Domestic there's going to be a hit but TLK 2019 made 1.12B overseas. I think this is still going to be monstrous overseas. It's going to have the Christmas holidays worldwide too. Still feel this is $1B+ even if it drops under $300M domestic.

The more I'm digging into Inside Out 2's global box office, the better I feel about Mufasa. Both did amazingly well in Latam markets and feels like an animation film for the entire family opening over the holidays even if TLK 2019 had mixed wom still seems like it can do at least half of the original worldwide (which is still almost $850M). The hit movies are the ones with big Hispanic/Latino appeal so it's very promising for it.

With Jones' passing (RIP), pretty sure this is going to be presented as a celebration of his career (even if he's not in the movie itself, the role is still iconically his). Given Darth wasn't making a return to SW anytime soon, feel like Mufasa will be a bigger event than it already was going to be here. Annual crown IMO is still up in the air with this news + Christmas.

Kinda rooting for Sonic to do more than this lol. RIP to Jones but using that to push this without him in it won't work.

I do hope Sonic beats this. James Earl Jones (may he RIP) was a true legend but he's not even in this. Would be crass to use him in the marketing.

It's funny how because its pre-release expectations were low that it will now finish with over $200m and be viewed as some kind of success. But it will still be WELL OVER a 50% drop from its predecessor. It's still a failure.

I’ve always been fascinated by how welllthe original lion king sequels did DTV. I think the first did 600 WW, and the third well over 300 million , and those were absolute trash
