With a bunch of the weekend actuals missing I haven't bothered making predictions for next weekend yet. For now I'll just say 7 Million Christmas Day for Holmes & Watson and 5 Million for Vice.

I almost crushed it :P.

Watch Holmes take a nosedive.

Oh it will. WOM is toxic. But it had one good day.

Would be fantastic for Aquaman, Mary Poppins, Spider-Man, and Ralph. We'll see how the weekend pans out though. It's way too early.

If Mary Poppins increases that much, 175m is essentially locked and 200m would be in play if it really legged it.

I'm very curious to see Tuesday numbers. We were almost 20% busier yesterday than Christmas Day.

I saw 4 movies on Tuesday. Theater was INSANE. Everything pretty much sold out. Even Marwen was. My friend and I bought all of our tickets on Sunday.

Is that not normal? I really have no idea. And if not normal, why do you think it happened this year?

I mean New Year's Day is a pretty big movie-going day. A lot of people off work and school. That's why my friend and I got tickets on Sunday.

Sure it's a big day, but is it usually bigger than Christmas?
