I think it's a bit unlikely for The Interpreter to have a multiplier under 3x.

My first thing to say:
HA!
Kung Fu Hustle did exactly what I was thinking. It will have a $6.7 weekend.

I also told everyone that King's Ransom is this week's derby killer. Only Ragnorak and I listened. I predicted $2.5 and Rag predicted $2.6. Still a bad score if it gets $1.9, but most of you will get a 0%.

As long as we're all throwing in our predictions, I predicted 2.2, even lower then you Casey I might've been wrong about Hustle, but I nailed this.

The Interpreter really surprised me, I didn't think it would interest many people on Friday, but I was wrong. I'm happy I didn't lower my prediction too much from $18.4.
The Amityville Horror held very well like I had thought it could, but I had no idea it could manage a 45% drop this weekend.
A Lot Like Love did pretty expected numbers, too bad I raised my prediction to $9.5 at the last second.
Sin City continues to drop hard. There's probably more people that didn't like it than expected.
And finally, Robots is heading for a sub 30% drop. No kid movies out (besides Sahara which really isn't), so this is the only movie to watch. Hitchhiker's Guide should benefit greatly from this kid movie desert.

It has a chance. But, House of Wax might kill its chances.

House of Wax looks like a hoot. I think it will do really well
But when did original horror die?

Well unless House of Wax turns out to be a hit, I dont think it'll hurt Amityville's chances at 60m. I doubt House of Wax will be #1 for the weekend or anything.

I rekon House of Wax will just make the top 5....with about $13,000,000. Still, solid though.

Ugh, House of Wax. No way I could ever see a movie with Paris Hilton in it.
Nevertheless, it will probably do fairly well. 17/43
