I know, there are not many reviews in yet, but still, the score is anything, but encouraging.
On the other hand, Closer got the third spot on the list of Best Movies of the Year on the National Board of Review.

An Example would be that The Machinist received about 90 reviews at RT and its score is at 76% while at Metacritic its at 58% with only 15 reviews. Same with Shaun of the Dead which is at 91% in RT with over 150 reviews and only 30 reviews at metacritic at 76%. RT is much more reliable. I think the person who runs Metacritic only posts reviews that support their own view.
Also I had my suspicion already that Closer may end up rotten since I mentioned earlier that the advance reviews werent posted a week or two ago before the movie opens

I just don't think it will be that big. I am usually wrong, though, on these limited releases. Plus, it's got competition from Finding Neverland, The Aviator, and a couple other Oscar-bait movies.
