Spongebob will have a nice increase on Friday, but I don't see much more than $20 million for the weekend. Still, not bad.

National Treasure will make over $30 million this weekend for sure.

National treasure is doing amazing numbers. I thought it would do around 70 million tops. it looks like a 115-125 million total flix.

As for marketing, was NT really marketed that much!?!?!? I was sure it was one of those movies to fade out around the 60 to 70 million mark .... oh wells .... might check it out one day ...

I don't know about the USA, but over here the distributor marketed the heck out of it. I see about 10 V Spots every day and there are National Treasure contests, National Treasure posters everywhere in the city etc. Not even movies like The Village and I, Robot got such an amount of marketing here.

If this estimate is true for Spongebob, then it looks like the movie might have trouble crossing $15 million this weekend. Vrry surprising.

Christmas with the Kranks is heading towards a $24-25 million weekend at the moment. I do expect a 60% drop-off next weekend, though, at least. Still, considering the awful press the movie is doing pretty well.

The same cannot be said for Alexander. It will make around $17-18 million over the weekend, but strong drop-offs are to be expect here. The costs of the movie (production and marketing) exceed $200 million by far, so it's a long way until the movie makes some profit. It won't even cross $60 million in the USA.

National Treasure's estimate indicates another $30+ million weekend. Even with a big drop the next weekend, the movie will still cross $125 million with ease. It may make as much as $140+ million by the end of its run. Pretty impressive, I'd say.

The Polar Express keeps holding well. It should have around $80 million by the end of its weekend and break $100 million by the end of its run, it will have good holds, but disappear right after Christmas.

The Incredibles will most likely cross $200 million on Friday and continue a nice run throughout December. However, with the huge competition coming from Spongebob, Kranks, National Treasure, The Polar Express and later in its run from Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, it will fall short of $300 million and probably also of $290 million. However it should end up with very healthy $280-285 million.
