Alexander did fairly well considering the incredibly bad reviews. It will get a multiplier higher than Timeline, but not by much. I see the 5-day gross being a bit over $25 million. However, I expect a 55+% drop-off next weekend. The movie will struggle to make $60 million in the USA.
Christmas with the Kranks actually opened very well. The Christmas-themed Bad Santa had a multiplier of over 9 last year. Kranks' should be at least that high. I see the 5-day gross being around $28-30 million.
The Polar Express increased a bit less than I expected, but it should still make over $27 million over 5 days, I hope. The movie is holding up pretty well and should end up with well over $110 million.
Great for National Treasure. Cage was in a need for a hit and he got one and a pretty big one at that. The 5-day gross will be north of $40 million and the total should be $120+ million.
A pretty big increase for Spongebob.

Yes, even with reviews like these. God-awful reviews didn't prevent The Cat in the Hat from opening with $35+ million. I see Kranks rising about 25% today and a further 70-75% on Friday and then follow the usual pattern. However, I don't expect its total gross to exceed $75-80 million.
