Fire Sickness - $8M (well, this looks rather stupid and boring, like Raise Your Voice) 5. Witch - $5.6M 6. Postage - $5.5M 7. Will Be Hot - $5.2M 8. Billion Molar Gaby - $3.2M 9. Fiary of a Slack Sad Woman - $2.4M 10. Valentine - $1.8M What were yours?
Above.
Looks like Ice Princess and Constantine are the main differences.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one using these odd titles!

Yikes, that's is one gutsy prediction Rag. If it doesn't get anywhere near 60 million, then I basically beat you. Anyway, great predictions for holdovers (as they are pretty similar to mine).

Damnit, i sooo lowballed with The Ring 2 inspite of my love for the jap-horror genre, the original and my lack of surprise when The Grudge did so well.
Oh well whats done is done, i can easily see it clearing $50m now though

Looks like I'm dead this week...considering low prediction for The Ring Part Deux.
Or, am I?
No, I am dead, and loving it!

No, you're not completely dead. Underpredicting is better, so at worse you'll get a 50%, which isn't that bad if it's your worst individual movie score.

Unless those Yahoo numbers point to a $30-40 million Ice Princess Opening, it doesn't look like The Ring 2 will do $70 million.

It never would've done 70 Million anyway, much less 60 or 50.. Hell, it's almost 7:00PM and the theatre I go to which is 20 screens isn't even 1/2 full..

Movies appealing to pre-teen girls almost always get huge ratios, in the 300-400 zone. And even higher when you throw in it being on the main page of Yahoo.

Nope. My prediction is still 73m, I'm just going lower for the games as I always do. I usually go about 10% lower for the games, my actual prediction for Ice Princess is 13.5m.

Cause M.Night movies (except Unbreakable ) and Silence of the Lambs are more popular then Ring. Show me ANY evidence to back that statement up. Well I did put Ring Two at 56mil for the weekend - but thats just because it'll be extremely frontloaded, so either when it grosses less then 50mil its first weekend or makes less then both Signs and Hannibal will be my evidence
Oooo got MovieDude & Zing, told you guys it wouldnt be as hyped/popular

I already admitted I was wrong, Impact. In many other threads.
Plus, let's not forget last week, when I was forced to change my Robots predictions from $36 million to $44 million by you and the other Robots fanatics.

Told you so.
I knew everyone would ruin it for them selves with outlandish predictions.
It's not a dissapointment to any of the movie news sites.....just you lot.
Because you were prediction sometimes over $60M.
It's MARCH. it had 3,330 SCREENS. ROBOTS only managed $36M from 3,800 screens, good reviews and a G rating!
