Audiences are officially NOT enjoying Lemony Snickets.

(and it's not fanboy, the movie must just plain suck)

Iv' heard nothing but bad things. so i couldn't care less if it doesn't pass $100M.

Looks like Polar Express is not the disappointment people automatically jumped up to proclaim. I knew it would have great legs. It could possibly reach $160 million now, which is great.

PEACE, Mike ;)

Um, the weekend in the uk was basically just Sunday. Cinemas were closed on xmas day and my (aswell as others) cinema closed early on Friday evening. And, im pretty sure a lot of the other films in release fell 60-70%+.

Exactly. The theaters in Australia also had Saturday off. I always find interesting that people only single out one movie and never look deeper into the numbers to see why they are happening, especially when every movie was behaving the same.

The weekdays have been strong for Lemony, and the WOM isn't that bad either, as indicated by Yahoo and IMDb scores.

Lemony Snicket's should cross $100 million now. It won't pass $120 million, though.

It actually WILL reach $160 million and go beyond. It is pretty much a lock for $165 million at this point. It'll stand at over $15 million after the upcoming weekend.
