Well, the first was enjoyed by pretty much all age groups. Plus these kinds of horror films always seem to have decent legs and weekday numbers. Naomi Watts will also draw some people in.

So it's not an adult-skewing horror flick. Just checking.

It is more then regular horror films, but I wouldn't call it an "adult-skewed" film. It draws in a lot more adults but not enough to consider it that.

Even with bad word of mouth I can't see it at least making $110 million, which is still a great number for DreamWorks and enough to ensure a third installment.
You mean like it was a lock to make over 60 Million and as high as 89 Million for the weekend, right?? At this point, this movie will be lucky to make 80 or 90 Million after this weekend.. :yikes:

I didn't think it would make $60 million or even $89 million. I predicted around $51 million for the weekend and it should make around $45 million. I wasn't that far off. And with that opening it will be able to make it to $100 million, even if it just inches past the mark.

They said on the radio this morning, (AM 1120 KMOX News) that it made 40 Million, like right on 40 Million and some change left over.. That pretty much makes me OWN Moviedude in which case, he will be changing his signature for me until April 15th when the King of a Horror hits theatres known as Amityville Horror.. =D> \:D/
