Petitions are usually meaningless attempts to feel like you're making a difference anyway.

I agree that this type of petition isn't going to accomplish anything, but it's fun to see how many people will sign. It's already at 140,000 sigs after only a couple weeks.
Still, the 140,000 people who signed pale in comparison to the 3 million people who bought her album.

btw, does anyone think any other singer out there would actually get more signatures if there was a petition to stop their careers? My answer: no.

I doubt that they would get as many signatures as her, especially not with all the negative buzz that she has going for her.
And btw, she's added on over 40,000 signatures since Thursday  That's a hell of a lot faster than what her album is doing now. But whatever I guess, it's not like it'll accomplish much, except ruin her week maybe
