How is the new U2 cd? I almost bought it, I like Vertigo but I was wondering how the rest of the album is?

Good. It's harder than "All that you can't leave behind" (or whatever it was called, lol) and it doesn't get old. Probably their best since The Joshua Tree.

So let's review my list of albums from 2004 that I bought in 2004.

Yesh. The new Clapton album, like the U2 album, is the best he's put out in years. Perhaps the best since Unplugged or From the Cradle...

It's different, though. The guitar playing gets a bit sloppy in some parts, and it isn't typical-Blues. It's 20s era blues (Well...understandable, since the album is a bunch of Robert Johnson songs) in a "first class" recording studio.

All it is is a bunch of johnson songs? I thought it was some new stuff but whatever. Kinda like rush's feedback I guess. I'll download a couple of tracks to see if it's buyable.
