Thats the diffrence between cats and dogs.Cats are selfesh and dont care about anything but themselves,Dogs care for their owners like if they were family members.

That's neat and weird.... The dog is trained to do that, but does the dog really know it's talking to someone?

I beg to differ. Cats are far from selfish, but display independence and individuality much like human beings! That is a reason why some ppl don't care for them because they remind us too much of ourselves!
As a lover of both species, I find cats to be far more intelligent than they are given credit for and unlike pack animals like dogs who acknowledge a hierachy and an alfa, some cats can also sense when their care giver is ailing and some do alert others or try to protect them!

I guarantee that dog only saved her because she only knew how to feed him. Otherwise, he'd be locked away with no food. Cats are independent, and will find food themselves.
Dogs are affectionate, but to a point where your face is a prime spot to slobber like a fool. Cats are affectionate, to a point where if they lick you affectionately on the hand or the cheek, it's once or twice, no dog spit all over you.
Cats will eat till they're full, and not exceed the limit. Dogs will eat until YOU make them stop. And I'll be damned if this one dog I know doesn't always come back to me, when I have to feed him. Luckily, it's not my money, so no worries.
Dogs are clumsy, and easily fall over their own feet. Especially if you tie them outside on a long chain, they trip over that. Cats are very stable, and when they fall, unless you saw it, you'd never know it happened.
But, when you get down to it, both dogs and cats are great. I know I made it sound like dogs are worse than cats, but cats have as many negative qualities. Too bad not EVERYONE thought like me, though.
