 10th WOKJ Motion Picture Awards - Pre-announcement Thread Here's a thread for speculation prior to the announcement of the noms as well as for me to drop tidbits as I keep tallying the votes.
BTW, more than one person does not know that is is SCORSESE, not SCORCESE
Also some tidbits:
- a certain summer blockbuster appeared on more than five ballots in the Best Picture line-up
- I know it seems like I am saying this every year, but there are some really really interesting races in MAJOR categories
- A certain film was mentioned as "Best Picture" on six ballots, yet received only ten points

I seriously considered it but wasn't sure many others would so I opted out. I did nominate it for Best Comedy (oh, excuse me, "Funniest Comedy," which I mostly rejected and just looked at as "Best Comedy" anyway  ) though. I thought it was really funny. I also nominated it for Best Adapted Screenplay and gave it 3 song nominations.
