10th WOKJ Motion Picture Awards - Pre-show Thread
I've been working well today and I have actually finished counting all votes already. I don't think I have ever done it this early before the ceremony. Anyway, here's the thread for discussing the potential winners, your predictions and to lament about all things MP Awards. Also, I will give you a few tidbits every now and then concerning the results. Starting with these three: - There is only one tie this year - A total of 23 movies have been named in the Most Overlooked Film category - Out of all categoires there are three nominees in total that received ZERO votes, one of which is from a "major" category. Guess which nominees these are!

I would not be surprised if no one vote for either Ryan Gosling or Julia Roberts in their respective categories.

Definitely Ryan Gosling, he felt good for nomination but a win might not have been selected by many.
Gravity for the WIN.

- The lowest number of votes that was needed to win a category was 11
- Only in one major category (Picture/Director/Actor/Actress/Sup. Actor/Sup.Actress/Ense,ble/Original Screenplay/Adapted Screenplay) all five nominees received at least five votes each
- Surprisingly, every single nominee in the Best Animated Feature category received at least one vote.

Also, even though he quote-unquote did not have a computer, he populated Facebook with many photos of him pouting in the bathtub during the last month.
