WOKJ Motion Picture Awards Pre-Show thread
Here's the thread where I'll give you some clues about how the voting went down and you can start guessing the winners, chill out and just talk the usual Water Cooler bullshit until the ceremony starts in three hours!

Re: WOKJ Motion Picture Awards Pre-Show thread
Some clues:
- We had a total of 54 ballots in the end, the most since 2006, I believe.
- As I mentioned before, some VERY close races in these awards. SEVERAL categories (minor and major) were won by ONE vote.
- In the nine major categories (Picture/Director/Actor/Actress/Sup. Actor/Sup. Actress/Ensebmle/Screenplays) only 6 of a total of 47 nominees received less than five votes. Feel free to guess which. NONE of the 47 nominees received zero votes.

Re: WOKJ Motion Picture Awards Pre-Show thread
- Each nominee in the categories Best Sound, Best Visual Effects and Best Costume Design got at least five votes, whereas one of the Best Song nominees didn't get a single vote.

Re: WOKJ Motion Picture Awards Pre-Show thread
In fact, only one nominee out of the entire nomination lineups received zero vote.
With 54 votes, you would need at minimum a 11 votes to win a 5-nominee category with ties and 9 to win a 6-nominee category (and that would require all 6 to receive 9 votes each). To show how close and competitive some of the races are, 12 votes are enough to win 3 categories, and 13 are enough to win 3 others.

Also only 2 categories where the winner won with more than 55% of the votes.
