Actually, we used to do this kind of thing all the time at BOM when one of the regulars became a mod. The reason it hasn't been done before, is because everybody who is a mod here has been a mod since before the forums were really moving. She's been a mod, but her responsibilies just increased dramatically, and there is nothing wrong with some encouragement. In fact, there better not be a moderator at these forums who reads this thread, and doesn't reply and welcome her. Members are optional, but administrators and mods should be posting with a smile.

Set some precedent here , guys! All of your jobs are about to get a lot rougher, so look at yourselves as a team. :wink:

I remember being attacked and having to explain why I was a mod at BOM. I don't recall any hugs!! I was cheated.

I say Libs should have to tell us who she slept with to get the position? My money is on Dolce.

That's because nobody knew who you were, and the next minute you were a mod. We thought you were just some new guy who was slipping it to Sean on the side.

Actually, he was. But, he stopped when he became popular with the users, and Sean let him go... or Tony left. One of the two.

I thought I was Sean's only love, but later found out I was the "on the side" guy. Mr. X was the main guy.

Still we deserved some love didn't we? I wonder which mods at BOM did get the love???? :???:
