 Hangover
Ok ...
So my head doesn't hurt, but I can not stop puking.
I have never had this before ... I can't keep anything down ... water ... oj ... it all comes back up. If I don't drink anything ... I dry heave ....
I am currently trying Ginger Ale and i think I will be puking it up in the next 10 min.
Anyone have any ideas ...

Not the latter, but the former. Lemon absorbs alcohol very well.
Here are my suggestions:
Lemon
Bread (I know you don't feel like eating bread, but nothing absorbs alcohol beter than that)
Don't drink anything besides water and drink lots of water, cooled water preferably
Take a cold shower and if you can't do that at least wash your face with cold ater some times
If you want to throw up for a long time and keep holding it back, it's not necessarily for the good, throw up once and you'll feel much better.
In order to prevent hangover in first place, always, no matter waht, always drink lots of liquid (preferably water) the night before before going to sleep. Alcohol dehydrates the body.
I have never had a hangover in my life, but have been around people who had it for an infinite amount of times, that's why I know this stuff, heh.
But really, ater before sleep prevents it from happening really well.

If you can't hold down water, you might have food or alcohol poisoning. Go see a doctor.
Alcohol dehydrates the body, true, but on top of that, you could have simply mixed too aggressively.

It sounds nasty but please believe this is a tried and true method regardless of if its liquer, flu, or virus induced.
Take some oj and mix in a fair amount of salt. it won't taste good, so please sip carefully, and you don't need to put a vat of salt in, just a teaspoon for the glass. it'll settle your stomach right down and plus is a good way to get the sugar/salt electrolight balance thing. I had a friend who was deathly ill and would not listen to me for two days. She finally broke down and did it and was surprised how well it worked. also, hot shower, breathe in the steam.

Also, try drinking Coke, it might help.

Coke is too sweet. When you have a hangover, you usually want to have something that has no taste. Coke won't help too much.
I think you should keep drinking water, even if it comes back up, eventually it won't anymore.
Also Dolce's advice sounds pretty good.

yup
what you mentioned is used for hydration .. its basically the same thing as when you have diarrhea .. the stuff you by at the pharmacy.
if the OJ sucks, you can try water, salt and sugar ... table spoon of each in a glass.
then again, you can't keep the water down so suck on lemon first to absorb the alcohol.

sip it, be careful, and try a shower for the steam too. i had a friend like this in college and had to hold her head over the toilet all night long. we resorted to reading the first three chapters of harry potter to keep her distracted and took damp paper towels and had her suck on it slowly. the thing that helped most was the shower. I didn't know about the salt and oj then because i only learned about it in italy when my roomate's sister got serious stomach virus the night before she had to leave the country and couldn't stop getting ill every 5 minutes. she was a biologist so taught us this trick and it helped her. she was in good enough condition to fly the following morning cause of it and since then that's my first suggestion to anyone. please try not to read the i ternet too closely, it can make you iller concentrating on the text and the lighting. go somewhere peaceful and sip it down slowly. maybe a sip or two every five minutes. i hope you're ok?

Coke is easier to hold down than water, plus it's got caffeine, which also helps in such cases. Having bubbles doesn't hurt either.
Which reminds me of my own magic remedy - Alka-Seltzer. Can't beat that.

I use diet coke sometimes. not as sweet, and less heavy.

You guys are all so sweet and attentive to the poor uni-boy.
Ugh, reading this thread makes me squeamish inside and gives me a headache...Thanks for the anti-alcohol schlock, you bastards.
Anyways, I can't really help you here Eagle. I'm hoping you feel better, though! A superbowl loss and a hangover is the epitomy of an awful day.

Still hung over, you poor bastard? Sounds sucky... no way to help, since the only alcohol I have ever had was a small sip. If I get drunk off that, then... well... I have deeper problems. I hope you feel better, Eagle.
