Re: So what is everyone's life like now?
Well, I'm only a sporadic regular on here, but I'll have a crack at this thing anyway. I'm 24, in my second year of teaching, and a bit more than halfway through a master's degree (on the way to an eventual doctorate, although I'm unsure of how long I'll wait to go back after this because the idea of focusing on work without school on top of it is all too alluring at this point). I'm currently single, and after all the romantic drama that I went through in undergrad, I'm pretty chill with that fact. I feel like I'm ready to get back into dating, but at the same time, I'm really driven with my work at the moment, and it's going to be tough to find room for a committed relationship between now and when I finish up with the master's in May. I also moved across the country last year, and the idea of calling myself a New Englander is becoming less surreal by the day. So... it's pretty safe to say that I'm not the same 15-year-old who first joined the forum back in 2006.

I moved in with my boyfriend a few months ago and, as of this summer, have left teaching to work in nonprofit development/fundraising. And I turned 35 a few months ago I'm old. Batnanna wrote: Got engaged on the 23rd Congratulations!

I don't know many people from the wokj legacy but here goes me... I'm 30. Married in May 2013, have a (almost) 7 month old daughter. Just changed job in September within Singapore moved as Project Manager. Still have full hair on my head. I'm generally chubby, you can also call me fat, specifically at the belly area which is passed through generations

I just got off the phone with Quicken Loans and just got hired as an Underwriter. So that's nice.

Oh wow when you put it like that it really makes me feel old. Thanks though! And thanks to everyone else as well. I couldn't be happier really. Unless I could get out of planning the wedding.

I miss the enthusiasm of the kids and my colleagues. I don't miss the rigidity of teaching around standardized testing and all the bureaucratic red tape. I love my new job, though. It works really well with my extroverted nature.

Re: So what is everyone's life like now?
I bought a new house but haven't sold the old one yet so I'm in debt quite a bit right now. But the new place has a big creek and a pond and it's really cool. My third novel came out last year and it is very possible that Random House may take the Sherlock Holmes short story collection I am editing. So, overall, good stuff.
