Thanks nebs for pointing this one out. I've noticed that many people do that intentionally to piss others off. You guys are teh funny.
There are others though who are oblivious to what they wrote. Guys guess what. Deep down inside somewhere, I'm sure you somehow feel cool when you respond with that. Making an unintentional spelling mistake there, defeats said purpose.

Re: People who need to be beaten to a pulp
Group 8: "OMG! You believe in God. HAHA. You must also believe in Santa"
I think people are perfectly within their rights not to believe in God. I do not say this because i'm one of those PC people who thinks that everyone has a right to a belief (or lack of) and an opinion. I say that because there are some, if not many very credible arguments that one can make about the non existance of God and one can very successfully argue that God does not exist.
But can some of you take some advice from me? Please stop with the santa and God comparison.
a) It will never work b) It makes you sound stupid in front of the people you're arguing with. c) Its a horrible horrible horrible ... did i say horrible? Yes. Its a horrible comparison.
You have many other examples to choose from. Spirits and ghosts and even the mystery box from that Family Guy episode is more relatable to the concept of God. I'd go as far as to say that while it is still a terrible comparison, even Big Foot is better. But Santa .... Santa is not.
i don't mind sitting down and explaining why but its a long point to make which i'd rather not sit and make right now. Bottomline is that its still an awful comparison and is highly detrimental to the argument you're trying to make. You at best frustrate the person you're speaking with, espicially when other people who are just as idiotic join in and start making fun of the God fearing person.

Group 8: Yea .. I'll have a double cheeseburger with bacon and unh .... fries supersized... and a diet coke.
There are diabetics in this world and to them .. power to you. Do whatever you want to.
But if you make that order and somehow think that that diet coke has contributed to your weight loss program, expect me to go home, put on a slipper, drive back and slap you silly with it.

I know, heh. If you're gonna splurge and fatten yourself up already, why not go all the way and order regular soda?

Re: People who need to be beaten to a pulp
You should've shortened that to "people who drink diet coke"
If you're looking to cut down on weight, um... don't order a soft drink? Especially if you get it in like the XL litre cups. Try juice or water or something, seriously.

Or just drink regular coke... it won't make that much of a difference and it tastes better. most juice is a waste of time. i hate pulp though. if i wanted pulp, i would eat an orange.

Group 9: "I've been in line for 20 minutes but now that i'm at the front being served, let me investigate what i want"
Guy! You've had 20 minutes to think about what you want while waiting in line. I understand that something in the menu didn't make sense and you want clarification. Something in the instructions you weren't clear about, ask a question. But don't get there and pretend like the instructions and choices were visible only from that point onwards and now you need to take a close look at them!
Hell, even if you weren't sure about something, have back ups ready. Don't ask if that thing contains something you wanted and if it didn't, sit there dumbfounded like you had no contingency plan.If you need to think, let the next person through. Oh wait i have a better idea. Don't stand in lines. let someone else handle things for you.

Re: People who need to be beaten to a pulp
If you count calories like I did this summer to lose my freshman weight, switching to diet soda really helped (especially considering that I'm a soda fiend). It's 350 unnecessary calories (two cans of soda) a day if you're trying to lose weight.
But bABA's complaint is legit. Don't order a whopper, super size fries and a diet coke on top of it.

And just for the record, I have known for a long time how much bABA hates people who don't spell "your" correctly. So I try VERY hard to not make the mistake of spelling it wrong. I slip sometimes

Re: People who need to be beaten to a pulp
Group 10 "You mean pop?"
You know I know YOU know what I meant. If i ask you for coke, give me a coke. There is no clarification required. If i ask for a soda, ask me what kind, don't try to confirm with me that soda = pop. It makes you sound dumb and i'm standing here trying to give you more credit.
In life however, try not to use the word pop at all though. Its a stupid word to describe a category of beverage. if needed, soda is adequate. But i'll forgive you for that.
