I love Ruth's Chris. Thats another one we frequent here. I've only visited The Chart House once while in Malibu and I liked it.

Some other Steakhouses I like
-Flemming's
-Bone's (In Atlanta)
-Burn's (Tampa)
-Random Guy's

Ooh, my grandparents live near Tampa, and we've eaten at Burn's. Great place.

Oh, glad someone else around here has been here. They have great food. Definately a favorite. :)

Guys, if your favorite restaraunt is a fast food chain, you're kind of missing something, don't you think?

The buffet at the Bellagio in Las Vegas is my favorite place to eat. There is also a local Mexican place near my home (non-chain) that's delicious.

As far as national chains...Outback, Don Pablos, and Olive Gardens.

Ha! It's funny to see people talking about Roadhouse in here. I thought that was a local thing. The whole peanut thing is disgusting.

I live in a dump of a city, so my favorite restaraunts are all chain places. I mostly make my own food.

Olive Garden
Red Robin
Thai Bistro
Jackson Creek Pizza (amazing Vegan pizza)

Yeah, that's about it. Thai Bistro is a miracle.

TGI Fridays.

I love their Cajan style food, especially the chicken. Don't forget the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. Oh boy it is so good.

Logan's? You gotta be kidding me, I thought it was awful. Worst chain ever.

There was a small chain in the Northeast called the Ground Round where you threw the peanut shells on the floor, but they had to discontinue it because it was a fire hazard.

Lo-price fast-food: Fazoli's (Italian), and Subway is pretty good. All the other ones are just straight grease
Yuppie Fast food: Panera Bread and Lawson's.
And don't forget the prepared section of Whole Foods Market. \:D/
Mid-Price chain: Macaroni Grill is good, but high-cal.
High-class expensive: Galileo in Washington DC.

I like the atmosphere of hotel restaurant/lounges, but not hotel conference catered food. They must all get their fruit plates from the same Star Trek replicator.

Chili's: The menu was incredibly...limited.
Don Pablos: No matter what you order, they bring you the same thing.

I'm not a big Lawson's fan, Erendis. And, while the Whole Foods prepared stuff looks nice, it doesn't have much of a taste... We got the turkey from Whole Foods this year; boy was it drier than even the most-dry turkeys we've had in the past...

The food at Macaroni Grill is good. The waiter that was working at our table was a bit strange, though. He took my brother's crayons and drew his name. With all four. At once. There's another place in that whole complex I like better: Eggspectations...The strawberry pancakes there provide you with a 2.5 inch mountain of strawberries that probably weigh as much as the $5 box at ANY Fresh Fields/Whole Foods...

My alltime favorite is Makino...it's a all you can eat sushi buffet in vegas that only costs $25.00 per person. Considering just one piece of sushi can cost up to $2.50 in most sushi bars, it's a great deal.

Braxton's is my favourite restaurant. Great food, gameboards, pool table, great people work there, and everything. I'm not sure if they have more than one location. It may be an independently owned individual restaurant.

PEACE, Mike ;)

They all do that. They must be instructed by Corporate to do that to appear more "friendly." At least it's not a weird as the one time I went to Outback Steakhouse, where the waitress actually sat in the booth with us to take our order. Gave us the willies. And it didn't help that I ordered my steak "brown all the way through" and they brought it to me still mooing.

I like the Lawson's panini. I've been to Eggspectations once, and it didn't strike me as all that memorble, but then, I'm a really bad food critic. I tend to pay more attention to atmosphere.

I had a girlfriend that was a waitress at an Outback Steakhouse, and they're actually trained to do that (sit in the booths). I always told her that it was accomplishing the exact opposite of what she was told it'd do (make a bigger connection, get a bigger tip).

Poor waitresses. The extra tips probably goes toward management and then gets shipped to the GOP.

Frankly, if you sat in my booth to take my order, I wouldn't tip well. And, if you messed up my order at the same time, I'd leave you one measly penny...

That's the most offensive. I know waitresses work hard and all, but when they're really bad, a penny gets it to them.

Oh, we tipped the Outback girl just fine -- we knew that the booth-sitting idea could only some from some idiot in management. We didn't ding the poor girl for screwing up my order either. Outback has (at least at the time) a policy that the manager himself would come out to table to pick up the meat for proper cooking and redeliver it.

Dang, I wish I knew more about where these tips are going. Maybe I should start leaving cash.
