So no need for PMs. I'm aware.
Ya, me too.
I have a midterm that ends at 8pm on the 15th, so I'll probably send it in after 8pm on the 15th
I still want to see at least Downfall. I know I won't get to My summer of Love and Best of Youth in time.

REMEMBER: ANY BALLOTS THAT DO NOT SAY "RANKED" ON TOP WILL NOT BE COUNTED AS RANKED BALLOTS. INSTEAD, EACH ENTRY WILL BE 1 PT.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

Uh, what? I don't remember this. I don't think I put ranked on mine, I just had them listed in order. I thought that's what we were supposed to do.
Edit: Oh, just saw it. Can you fix mine, pleasseeeee.

Yeah, you and a couple others forgot to write ranked on top, so I thought I'd remind everyone...
But don't worry about it.

Do we have to have 5 nominees in each category? I'm sorry, but the crop of horror movies this year is equaling slim pickins'

I do actually
So what does that mean? Three minimum? If so, can they still be ranked?

0 to 5 nominees will be all be accepted. I don't how the scores go if you vote for fewer than 5. I'd suggest to go with that if you only vote for 3, your No. 1 in that category will only count as 3 points. If you only vote for 1 in a category, it will count as 1 point. That way, you can't just vote for your favorite alone and expect it to get 5 points while no others get any.

WE'VE RECEIVED 3 COMPLETE BALLOTS (THAT IS, INCLUDING THE SCREENPLAY CHANGE).
PLEASE GET TO FUCKING WORK.
I'd love to help, but looking back I realized I saw less than 30 films all year
I wouldn't have anything to add. I'll contribute if you're still low on numbers after the weekend, but I won't bother taking the time as it stands now.

Actually, I'm doubting having time to rent it. Depends on how much studying I get done during the day on Saturday

lol. I'll actually have mine in late tonight. I watched Downfall and I know I won't be able to watch Best of Youth or Summer of Love by Wednesday!
Here is a suggestion for those of you who still haven't turned in their ballots...
If you have a choice that's not so popular and you have it ranked as 4 or 5 or something, put them as 1, so there's more of a chance to get all your favorites in. Don't rank the ones that you know are gonna get nominated as your #1.
That way we have alot more interesting nominees.
For example, I have The New World as my 4th Best Pic of the year, but I'll probably put it at #1 so it can get more points since it's less likely to appear on others' lists than say Munich, BBM, and Crash!

That's why Bruno Ganz should be #1 at everyone's list who saw Downfall!

I did the same thing. :-) Tried to bump up movies to number 1 that I would normally consider 4 or 5, because not many have seen them. Ganz and New World, Gong Li, Kilcher, Adams, alot of them. That way people will have more time to watch them in between rounds.
BTW, BallotPM, how many people have submitted ballots so far? Time to start keeping the list updated and bugging people. TWOOO MOOOORE DAYYYYS!

Actually three more days. But yeah, time for people to start getting in their ballots.
I still hope to catch 4-5 films before voting, though. Through rentals.
