I've Disabled Pictures in My Browser
I can't stand the proliferation of disgusting images on the internet anymore. For some reason, some think it funny to spread this stuff around; it can lead to actual trauma, this isn't as fun as some sick kids think it is. It can leave actual scares.
I have given up using Google's image search, which is pathetic joke. Aside from not getting the images you're looking for, you can stumble across some you never ever would want to see.
And there's some stuff kids should definiely not see. Google Simpsons, and you see Maggie sucking on something else other than the pacifier. It's absolutely gross. Google Batman, and you get Batman and Robin in a sexually suggestive position. This is not to mention of any of the vast number of celebrity faces attached to some nude bodies. This include those of underaged stars (though thanksfully I haven't suffered through seeing those).
Has anyone else gotten to this point yet?

Gee, I hope not. If you did, sorry Box! I didn't mean to ruin your afternoon/evening/whatever is wherever you're at.

when you go to images go to the right and you'll see in small lettering preferences and it should be in there

Oh please! I've known what Goatse is for a long time now, I wouldn't have fallen for it.
But Goatse is the epitome of all that is wrong with the internet.
I wouldn't censor it, since I'm (still as of yet) in support of the internet being free of censorship. That is, for as long as I have an option to turn it off and ignore it.
Btw, there are viruses carrying Goatse. They change your wallpaper, etc. so be warned about those.

Oh trust me, I know that. But, I'm glad it wasn't me that killed your Sunday, Box. I killed one other Sunday, I won't do it again.
But you're right. You create an idea in your head of the sickest, most twisted thing ever, and the internet will likely have it.

Those images can be viewed with that feature on. I have the safesearch option always on, and I get that stuff.
Generally, I think those sites want people to come across them, so they present them as something innocent or whatnot, as a way to get around the Google restriction.

That Sunday was ruined by an essay assignment actually. That's why I overreacted. Those things tend to stress you out.

I'm working on another right now, but this one thanksfully is easier. I have 3 more and an exam within a week, so jolly

Eek. I have three tests coming up in the next two weeks, as well as a presentation to make, that needs to be AT LEAST 7 minutes.
