 Facebook Events
If you received an invite to an event, you would respond, correct?
92 people have been invited to my facebook event, of which only 19 have RSVPd yes, no or maybe. How long do you really think it takes to figure out whether or not you can/want to go to an event? Are the 73 people ignoring me, or are they really thinking hard and deep about it? I know they've seen it since check mark Seen appears under their name.

 Re: Facebook Events
I don't always respond, no. Because, especially with a large event like that, I don't know if I want to go, and if I respond, that means I'm committing to even thinking about it. Even if I respond Maybe. It's more a matter of me not thinking about the event that it doesn't even register.
If you invited 20 people to an event, there's a 10% chance all 20 respond. Inviting 90 people?! No way you'r getting over half of them to respond.

 Re: Facebook Events
I don't even look at the events, they are 5-10 daily usually something stupid thing.
If you know the people, best way is still get in touch with them is personally.

 Re: Facebook Events
Yeah, it doesn't matter if they're strangers or not. You're not REAL GOOD CLOSE PERSONAL FRIENDS with all 90 of them, hell, if it was a family part you'd be lucky to get half of the 90 members to respond.
Unless it's a wedding.

 Re: Facebook Events
I just assumed that those invitations are blindly sent out to that person's whole friend list most of the time, so I don't bother.

 Re: Facebook Events
I rarely respond to any invites. 99% of the time I don't plan to go, but I don't want my profile showing up related to any stuff it doesn't need to, so I always press that X so I don't even show up in invited list even.
