Post Computer programs
Is there a computer program I could use to make a medley of several different karaoke tracks for a performance?

Also is there a program I could use to cut down both parts of Mockingjay into one 3 hour film?

Any basic computer should have run of the mill editing software on it

That's not true. Don't listen to Thegun. But there are plenty of free editing platforms out there. A lot of them won't output in MP3, however you can use an MP3 Cutter and Editor for that, which can also be downloaded from the Internet. Just search and see what you find.

Digital download? lol. Yeah, you can't. You would need to have a DVD-rewriter, but I don't know if computers come with these anymore.

AudioMux or Midimux can be used but its not going to be an easy process. You will have to spend 4-5 hours depending on the total time of your performance, how many variance, any special effects that you need to add (specially if you want some additional DJ effects) and the number of source karaokes that you want to add.

If these two don't work out find out a software online that does it. You would want something that shows the dual channels. I prefer the wavelength display for both audio channels.

Haven't seen a better way myself. Both the above software will give out various audio file types including mp3.

Any video editing tool should do it. This is also a tedious process if you are going to change the format of the files from DVD to avi, mp4 or mkv. Converting them back to a DVD will also take time and computer's processing abilities, which in the long run ruined 4 system RAM and overall memory in 7 months for me, had to buy new one each time. Just wanted to inform you that regular Laptops are not that great for video processing but a slight video editing should be fine. BTW do you want to just add the two movies into a single file or delete some parts from it?

If you want the DVD audio converted to another format, .mp3, etc. then you want to convert the .vob file on the disc. Audacity is open source (free).

If you want your DVD sounds for hand editing for karaoke use, then you'll want to convert the .vob to the flac file format. In 5.1 to make it easier to cut the (usually) front center vocal, by muting the front center channel. Then you can convert the muted 5.1 flac file to a 2 channel format.
There are also filters available that can mute the phantom center imaging where the center vocals appear in a conventional 2 channel stereo recording. But I don't know them offhand.

Oh yeah Audacity is one of the best mux'ers I remember.
