Its not even the beer, its the style. I'll take PBR, Old Style, and Bud over any 40s. 40s are disgusting and get warm way too quickly. Beer is supposed to be cold (except for some Belgian ones) so it should be in small quickly drinkable containers (so that the rest can be chilled in the fridge). 40's take so long to work down and just get warm and syrup-y. Ugh, and the fizzyness is all wrong. They're consistently flat and get flatter with the heat. That and they're 40s for cryin' out loud. They're inherently cheap bad faux-beers. I've maybe tried them a total of times less than the fingers on one hand and I hated all the experiences.

nothing beats an ice cold labatt blue draft. so refreshing, and it makes the perfect compliment to hot wings......dear god i want some beer and hot wings.
