Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
NCAA's message to KU: congrats on playing the toughest schedule of the year, now, here's the toughest road to the Final Four full of potential upsets in the first weekend and Kentucky looming in the second weekend if they're lucky enough to get there.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
One the committee are awful at seeding teams. There are too many examples of this to mention. And WTF UCLA doesn't belong in the field. They should be in the NIT.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
Gonzaga is either the most overrated every time they get a high seed or just totally underachieving.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
I think the higher seed plays against them. Makes other teams more ready and makes Gonzaga harder to catch you off guard. Wichita State will soon be the next Gonzaga if Marshall stays, but all signs point to him leaving for Texas.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
Well, OU is supposedly down this year after last year's disappointing season. Either Baylor or TCU is expected to win the Big 12 this year. I'll certainly be rooting for my team but I would root for TCU to run the table if they beat OU. Other than that, I'm not really into this season. I'm much more interested in the NFL season.

I like the way Clemson has played, kicking the shit out of Miami and shutting them out is very impressive.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
Uh. How did my team lose to freaking Texas. Such a shame. Maybe they'll get beat by the heavy hitters in Baylor or TCU but golly. Losing to TX...this year. Nasty.
Baylor seems unstoppable offensively. TCU is escaping one too many times but maybe it's a case of destiny. Maybe OSU will be the spoiler in the Big 12 this year. The 2nd half of the Big 12 schedule is going to have some major matchups.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
Clemson V Alabama 40-45
Clearly Clemson blew that game. That last quarter had so many missed tackles that led to TDS and big plays it was ridiculous. If their defense had not absolutely played like trash that last quarter they would have won. I have no doubt. Giving that kickoff and letting a dump pass from the 25 yard line of Alabama turn into a TD was outrageous. When will this Alabama era end because I just can't stand them.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
I mean, it wasn't missed tackles. They just didn't cover that fucking tight end. Bama had 4 big play TDs that were all busts. Awful. It was an excellent game. And both teams played incredible outside of those few plays.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
Yep couple busted coverages on Clemson defense & special team cost them the win. Still though a great game. A lot more action packed than I thought I'd be.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
As wide open a year as we have seen. Kansas and Villanova look to be the two best teams, but given their past post-season struggles, it'll be tough to pick them to win it all. It'll be interesting to see how the bracket will look in the end. With the geographic consideration and the fact that both Big 12 and ACC look to have four top 4 seeds and they have to be distributed to have one team in each region, we could end up with some unbalanced regions. As for my alma mater Duke, they have the talent to repeat, but also can easily lose in the first round as they did a couple of times before.

Re: 2015 NCAA Sports Discussion
One thing I have always found odd is how Kansas has the fourth most wins in March over the past ten years, but are often labeled as a pour tournament team. It is because they often are knocked out by mid majors.
As for this year, there is I dominant team. But bias aside Kansas has the best shot. But do not rule out Kentucky. They have the most talent.

It is looking like the current top two truly are the two best teams this year
