Same here, I was suspecting it... I like his answer though when asked by grand jurors if his performance increased after starting using steroids and he said that he didn't notice a "huge difference"... Yeah, right... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't think anyone is surprised by the fact that Giambi took steroids before last season (Just look at the weight loss and that tumor of his). I think the reason why this has become a big deal is because how upfront he was about the whole thing.

From what I have read and heard, I don't think he took any steroids in Oakland. However, after he was traded to New York (Around the same time he met Bonds' trainer) he thought that he had to up his game somehow, so he got the steroids from the trainer. Then, around the time of these hearings, he stopped using them, which led to him becoming sick all of a sudden during Spring Training of 04'.

Now it will be interesting to see how he will be treated by fans on the road, or at Yankee Stadium for that matter. :)
