I'm still in stage 1 - Denial. As far as I'm concerned, this series never happened.
Maybe by next month I can move to stage 2 - Anger. Don't worry, just think back to 2000 when the Yankees beat their cross-town big rivals the Mets in the world series... And then think back to the 3 other world series just before that. And then think on how the Yankees have won 1/4th of the world series. You'll be better after that.

I also am a fan of the Detroit Tigers, as I live in Michigan, so you'd think I would know how to cope with the grief of losing by now. But, it's never easy.
A Cubs - White Sox World Series would rock! But, I'd probably root for the Cubs.
