 Re: NHL 2011-12 Season
Phoenix is dead in the water. No offense at all, and Smith can't carry the team anymore.
Quick is too good right now.

Not gonna happen, but would be hilarious if LA lost the next three.

What a sick goal. Almost makes up for the incredibly boring game.

This is like the least excited I've ever been about an NHL Finals/last 2 rounds. NJ's run feels so non epic

 Re: NHL 2011-12 Season
Backs against the wall and the Devils come up with a goose-egg. Bye bye Devils. There's no chance in hell there will be a Game 5. This run by L.A. has just been unbelievable. And they have a solid chance to repeat again next year. They've eliminated everyone so quickly that they're hardly going to have to worry about fatigue.

 Re: NHL 2011-12 Season
Has anyone in this current playoff alignment gone 16-2 or better? I can't remember the last time a team just steamrolled like they have.

Oilers went 16-2 in '88.

Well, no 8 seed has ever won the Cup...

 Re: NHL 2011-12 Season
It's just insane that they have started every series 3-0, as an 8th seed. Still undefeated on the road, crazy.
