Clement next. He threw up? I only caught the last set, he didn't look good for the first few games, but Pavel went nuts at the ref when he over-ruled a call. "Noh, you dont foking over-rule" Ah it was funny. Wow cant believe he's the only brit left in the tourny. Henman is terrible.
Yes he threw up at 2-1 in the final set i believe, took 21 minutes to clean the court
Henman played horribly, but apparently he was injured. I'm glad Rusedski lost, after all he's been talking himself up recently it was kind of amusing. Shame for Rodick, makes it easier for Nadal i suppose.

I like womens tennis much more than mens tennis for some reason.
Maria #1 seems to be cruising. Whats Dementievas seed? Is she one? Because on ESPNs draw page she isn't, though I don't see why. Shes a strong player, one of my faves. Maybe its a typo.

Dementieva is the 6th seed. She won in a third set tiebreaker today, so she's into the 4th round and will probably play Monday. She'll have a tough quarter against Davenport, if she gets to that point.

Lets go Dementieva!!!!!!
She's so cute AND I feel so sorry for her and her crappy serve. If only she had a good serve, she might be dominating, cause even with possibly the worst serve on the tour, she still manages to do really well in tournaments.

Yeah once she hits that serve in she can stay in rallies with pretty much anyone on tour. And she has tried to improve that hilarious second serve recently, so she's getting there. If she got more consistent with her serve I could see her being a top 5 player on a more consistent basis, along with the Belgians, Davenport, Sharapova and Venus, and if she decides to show up Serena.

So Nadal lost. James Blake is instant the superstory of the moment. I bet he loses next round. Agassi is looking at a nice bracket to work with.

I was so sure Kim was going to go away in the second set after she got down the first break, because it's Kim and she has the mental strength of Jana Novotna on a good day, but I'm glad she pulled through.
Now that Henin-Hardenne is out, I want her to take it all, and with JHH gone I think she may do just that. Go Kim!

Its sucks that JHH got out, lucky for Clijsters, but for everyone else shes simply one of the coolest players. I'm cheering for:
Men: Coria(I love that cocky bastard)
Women: Dementieva.
If Coria can make it to the next round it'd be fantastic. Hes one of my faves.

Coria lost. I can't believe Robbie Ginepri is in the semi-finals. Unseeded young American player, Blake has been overshadowing him for a while here, but he could do it. And oh yeah its:
Dementieva(serving): 4
Davenport: 1

Demetieva won. Close as can be. 8-6 in 3rd set tiebreak. Davenport had match point.
HURRAY!

Woe nelly! what a match! one of the best i have ever seen,Andre Agassi is the king of 5 set matches, man what conditioning this guy had,i really thought it was over after he lost the first 2 sets pretty bad but somehow he came back from the dead and pulled out the win.

I had no idea this thread existed, I've been following the Open too. I was rooting for Federer to win, he seems pretty cool and I think he's a good number 1 for the sport. But Agassi's win tonight was electrifying, great match, if he can somehow win it all that would be great.

Mary Pierce is a fucking cheating sore bitch. I agree with Elena's comments that if thats the way Mary has to win, so be it, but its a lost faith in sportsmanship of the sport.
Things aren't going your way, the other player is red hot and momentuming down on you? Easy solution! Walk off the court and lie down for 12-15 minutes. You get a much needed rest, and the other player is completley stripped of all the hotness/momentum they had going for them! As they have to stand around and let themselves back down, now you can reverse the fortune, start with the advantage possibly.
Go Clijsters. She actually deserves it.
