Now that the Superbowl is over, it is almost time for the most exciting time of the season (for Browns fans) - the Draft Really hope they draft Justin Blackmon. Give Colt McCoy a target before you give up on him.

Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
So where does everyone think Manning will go? Most experts seem to think the leading candidates are the Dolphins, Redskins, and Chiefs. I think the Chiefs are the best team of the three. They have a great defense, running game, and good WRs. They just need a QB to get to the next lvl.

On a different note, I think it's hilarious that people actually think Rams should trade Bradford and draft RG3. People act as if Bradford is horrible when he actually had one of the better rookie seasons ever and was plagued last year by injuries. Trade the pick and build around him. If they can get a one legit linemen and one legit WR, that offense can be pretty potent. He played outdoors at UT, so not sure why he would be bothered by that. Also he will probably be forced to play outdoors as I don't think any dome team will show any interest. I do think Miami is in play in this, but either Miami or Washington will be eliminated since I think one of them will trade for the number 2 pick. Cleveland will probably bring in Matt Flynn.

My guess is that he winds up with the Titans. Why not end his career where it started, and where (outside of Indy), he is considered to be a god?

I think the Titans and Niners are both wildcard teams. They haven't expressed interest so far but both teams would be much better off with him. Manning is better than either Smith or Hasslebeck.

I think Seattle would be best for Manning. It's a great homefield and a division he could win.

I still think it's AZ. Indoors, great defense, LARRY FITZGERALD, and an easy division.

Arizona hasn't expressed much interest in him so far, and I don't see him going to Seattle. They have a lot of problems. The Niners and Chiefs have the best weapons if he wants to win a SB.

What about the Browns? They could use a good QB. I don't think it would be ideal for Peyton...but he could give them a winning season.

They have too many holes on their team. I think they are better off trying to trade up for RG3. And yeah the Niners are leaning to keeping Alex Smith. Not sure if that is the best call. I am still not convinced he can do anything beyond being a game manager.

Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
If you think the Cardinals have a terrible defense, then you didn't watch football last season. Also, I would take Beanie Wells and Larry Fitzgerald over Frank Gore and Vernon Davis EVERY DAY. Not even a question.

The Niners and Chiefs both have better defenses than the Cardinals. To me Gore is a better RB than Wells. I would also take Charles over Wells. Of course, I don't think Manning will go to the Niners because they won't give up on Alex Smith, especially after getting to the NFC championship game. I think the Chiefs have an edge over the Cardinals because of Money. They have more room to spend, and then you have to consider Kolb who would be a major cap hit if they keep him or cut him. I would put the Dolphins, Redskins, and Chiefs over the Cardinals as likely landing spots for Manning.

If I'm a QB, I want to play with Larry Fitz. I wouldn't care about much else.

Because the Dolphins, Redskins and Chiefs have all been close to the Super Bowl recently... right?

Oh wait... And that prevents him from them winning one in the next five years? If he wants a shot at SB the Chiefs, Jets, and Titans are his best bets. They each have the talent to go there. The Chiefs have a great defense, great RB (in Charles) and a great WR corp. The Jets have similar attributes and the same with the Titans. The Cardinals defense is worse than those other three teams I mentioned and really only have one WR. They aren't going to the SB anytime soon. If he goes to the Dolphins, he is going there because of the money and nice weather and with the Redskins it will be because of the money. You also have the cap to consider. Arizona is going to be very strapped to sign Manning, which is why most people don't think they will. I also think the Jets are going to have the same problem unless Manning wants to take a big pay cut to go there.

You really know VERY LITTLE about football. It's astounding.

And Arizona isn't considering in the running anymore. First they have cap issues because of Kolb and their are sources who say they intend to stick with him. If I had to rank the teams who could get him this would be the order 1 Miami (everybody are calling them the favorite) 2 Kansas City (personal bias but there have been signs) 3 Washington (never count out Daniel Snyder) 4 Seattle (they have the right conditions, although ownership seemed to nix it) 5 NY Jets (with Ryan they will be involved the problems is the cap) 6 Arizona (I won't rule them out but they have cap issues as well, along with Kolb) 7 Tennessee (I call them a darkhorse, but not sure if they will pull do it) 8 San Fran (I give them a small shot but don't see it happening)

Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
1. They can cut Kolb before his cap number hits. 2. They're better suited at RB AND Defense now than they were during their SB run. 3. They may not have a great #2/3 WR, but they have good TE's and the best WR in the league.
Dolphins, Chiefs and Redskins will all be run first teams. With or without Peyton. AZ will be throw first.

Those teams are run first teams now because their QBS suck. If they got Manning they would throw the ball first. It still doesn't seem like they ditch Kolb. Several ESPN analysis say they are leaning to keeping Kolb and there is the bidding war. The three leading teams I mentioned have the most cap space, which is why they are the leading contenders.

I would keep Kolb too, if I was AZ. Unless Manning wants to go there.
